AGARTALA, March 3 (TIWN): Today it's the 3rd Anniversary of BJP's victory in Tripura which came in power with various promises like "Permanent Solution of 10323 Teachers problems" but after 3 years of the victory the reality resulted in nightmares for the 10323 teachers. They are jobless, debt-ridden and devastated. One more Debt-Ridden Terminated 10323 Teacher committed Suicide in Tripura today. Death Toll Raised to 87. The deceased has been identified as Abhijit Das (28), resident of Dharmanagar, Kadamtala. The Joint Movement Committee has condoled his death, requested teachers not to chose path of suicide because by suicide they are putting their families in further problems. Gripped in debts, the teacher reportedly had called a friend and told him that Gramin Bank should take responsibility now as he is debt-ridden.

His body was found hanging in his room.

JMC member Dalia Das has said, "What can be expected from a Govt which can torture innocent teachers like this ? What can be expected who forgets about promises but 10323 teachers will not leave the ground. We will protest till we get our jobs back".
