AGARTALA, Jan 29 (TIWN): Barbaric action by Tripura Home Ministry on January 27 under the tyranny of Biplab Deb which started from midnight and ended after injuring around 150 teachers is although first ever incident in Tripura at least of last two decades in measure of brutality level but such attempts taken by Biplab Deb earlier also when Forest Dept employees held protest and sat hunger strike demanding regularization. The employees back in 2018 were in hunger strike demanding regularization as BJP before 2018 election had promised about regularization but in the very early morning taking the opportunity of dark hours, Biplab Deb had ordered police to remove them from protest spot and to to arrest them, but state's 99% media did not write against Biplab Deb on that time and the protest was removed suddenly as the numbers of agitators were lesser. However, after not getting justice from State Govt when the Forest Dept employees filed petition in the High Court, Court has now ordered regularization.

Various legal cases were imposed time to time against various groups of agitators including College students who gheraoed Secretariat seeking 'no recruitment' without B.Ed. However, the notorious "Chanakya" is behind all tyrannies just like he did in Badal Choudhury's time misusing Home Ministry under Dictator CM Biplab Deb. Various such incidents took place under Biplab Deb although as opposition Biplab Deb, for many times organized similar protests including CMs house gherao when Manik Sarkar was the Chief Minister.

Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has reacted on the police brutality on 10323 teachers on Wednesday in front City Centre and CMs residence citing when he was the Chief Minister, no police could attack any agitator for road blockade or CM's residence gherao programmes. After Biplab Deb Govt's barbaric attacks on 10323 Teachers, leaving round 150 teachers injured and 20 seriously injured after since midnight, Police started torturing the peaceful agitators at Agartala City Centre. The teachers were sleeping in the demonstration spot when JMC leader Bijoy Krishna Saha was arrested from there in dark-hours under Biplab Deb's cowardian order to lift the agitators before sun rises.

For 3 to 4 times of police attacks left hundreds of teachers injured who were demanding their jobs back which was promised by the BJP. However, reacting over the brutality, violence on Citizens, Ex-CM Manik Sarkar has stated that such displays of power is not symbol of strength but it's weakness. He cited how during his tenure his Govt allowed IPFT to keep National Highway block at Baramura without a single lathi-charge. He said, this is the difference of perspective. "Many people asked, why were we so silent and so soft against national highway blockades but our Govt always displayed tolerance and humanity, capacity to handle things.
