AGARTALA, Jan 25 (TIWN): Massive protest has hit the capital town Agartala today after Ajit Sutradhar, a terminated 10323 teacher who has been a JMC member died of heart attack today morning. The teachers paid tribute to the deceased at the JMC demonstration spot at Agartala City Centre and then took the body to Battala crematorium. The teachers gheraoed the Education office, breaking police led obstacle. Pushing the main-gate which was by-force closed by police, the JMC members successfully entered there and staged protest. Many teachers broke in cries, screaming, raised slogan, "Education Dept Hai Hai..", "Education Secretary Hai Hai......", "Education Minister Hai Hai.........".

The teachers also asked Minister Ratanlal Nath via media, how would he feel if his son dies, referring how demised Ajit Sutradhar's father is crying today seeing the dead-body of his son. JMC member Dalia Das asked, "How did the Govt ask this 50 years old man Ajit Sutradhar to sit in interview ? Today, he is no more and we are asking this question to the Govt sitting infront of his dead body !"
