AGARTALA, Jan 23 (TIWN): Biplab Deb Govt's anti-people decisions are causing statewide crisis, deaths. From termination of mid-day-meal to Anganwadi workers, JICA employees, cancellation of ongoing recruitments, slashing of social pensions of around 50000 of people are parts of such anti-people decision of the Govt. Amid such crisis, due to Judiciary's strong actions many deprived people's lives and livelihoods were saved like deprived jobs aspirants, terminated pump workers etc. In such a move a woman has received justice today after High Court orders Govt to appoint her by one month which she deserves since her husband's death. Tripura High Court reportedly has issued an order to State Govt to recruit of demised Pump Operator's wife who has been deprived for a long time amid her much attempts.
Addressing media, Lawyer Biplab Deb said, "On January 22nd, Justice Subashish Talapatra has given a verdict on the basis of a petition was filed by Gita Sutradhar, W/O-Late Sudhan Sutradhar who was employed as pump operator in Lebachara RD Block. After death of Late Sudhan Sutradhar, his wife Gita Sutradhar sought appointment in die-in-harness facility under the Govt of Tripura. She submitted applications to various officials including ADC village chairman of Lebachara but the chairman said something unusual. At last, she appealed in High Court for justice and Court accordingly issued order to the officials like Panchayat Director, South Tripura Executive Engineer, BDO Korbook RD Block, saying, that by one month, her application has to be executed".
