AGARTALA, Nov 29 (TIWN): Space-less auditorium of Rabindra Bhawan was seen in the convention of 'All Tripura Govt 10323 Ad-Hoc Pay Teachers Organization' as huge numbers of teachers had joined the convention.
This is one of the 3 organizations which will conduct joint protest in Tripura after 3rd December. More two organizations also have shown their strengths.
However, opposing the Govt has not been the target of the sacked teachers but they are devastated with the ruling Govt's fake promises which although before 2018 election assured to save their jobs but now left jobless for 8 months. Many teachers have died in tensions and many are burdened with loans.
Talking to media, Bimal Saha, a former teacher among 10323 group said, "As you know that Chief Minister Biplab Deb had promised about securing the 10323 teachers lives and livelihood by 2 months but on December 3rd, 2 months of his promise will be fulfilled. We are left without salaries for 8 months which is forcing us to go in protest. This war will be a 'Maha-Judhha' (great war) and it will be a historical great war because today the families which were dependent on 10323 teachers salaries are devastated. Their children don't have luxury for studies, old parents are dying without medicines and two times meals have turned tough. The party (BJP) has cheated us in Vision Document. We warn the Govt not to cheat us and save us........"
