BELONIA, December 3 (TIWN): CPIM is the only party which will always get money from Central Govt by bootlicking and then will start blasting same Central Govt after receiving funds. So," Without taking an attempt of curbing the price hike of essential commodities since the regime of UPA II, the BJP government adopted decisions for the sake of the capitalists both in the country and abroad", said Dakhin Tripura Zila Sabhadhipati Himanshu Roy in a program of Public Distribution System (PDS) organized by the Food and Civil Supplies Department at Belonia Town Hall, here today.
The scheme is to help the marginalized people to buy required food commodities,” he said.According to the decision of the state government, people under the jurisdiction of PDS would be given a cash subsidy of Rs. 35 into their bank accounts in lieu of supply of 2 kilograms of mustard oil and one liter of pulses per month.
The scheme was already started from October 1 across the state. The scheme will be implemented in a quarterly basis where the concerned beneficiaries would receive Rs. 105 every three months.
MLA Basudeb Majumder remaining present during the programmed today said that providing the subsidized items would cost the state government Rs.40.53 crore annually.
