Thumbs Down to Law ! After Administrative visits, No decrease in Illegal Potato, Onion Prices in Markets

AGARTALA, Nov 2 (TIWN): Even after SDM Sadar and other officials' visits in markets, it was informed that onion price is at Rs. 62 and potato price is between Rs. 40 to Rs. 45, nothing was practically changed in markets.
The administration only delivered statement before media which only increased the confusion as the small scale sellers, local shop-keepers have not changed their attitudes.
Reportedly, in various markets across Tripura, onions are sold at Rs. 70 to Rs.80 whereas potato prices are at Rs. 60.
