AGARTALA, Oct 20 (TIWN): Amid slow economy, hunger and poverty across Tripura, State Transport Minister Pranajit Singha Roy has reportedly decided to increase bus fares followed by 3 days strike of the bus owners, workers. Tripura Bus Owners Association has informed media about the fare hike decision of the Minister.
BJP Govt immediately after coming in power increased fares massively but once again, the fare hikes would likely to erupt further resentments, specially, when economy is down.
On the other side, Modi Govt is not taking any attempt to decrease the fuel prices, turned the situation further critical.
