AGARTALA, Oct 17 (TIWN): Vote comes with plenty of promises and the people left with no other option rather than waiting for the next election. Same happened with TET Qualified teachers of Tripura, who went against the then Left Govt from 2017-18. This BJP backed TET Teachers Association today finally opened mouth against the continuing injustice. They said in a press meet, 'The GT teachers are getting after 10 years of jobs Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 26,000 less than Centre, causing losses of Crore in Retirement'. The Association has slammed both the previous and the present Govt for this fixed-pay system for the teachers, which causes losses for the teachers in the long run, whereas the other states teachers are getting high amount of salaries.

"We tried a lot to change the system and met various leaders, officials. We met Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarman who said that as soon as from Education Dept, file will be moved we will work in that direction. So, we request the Education Minister and CM Biplab Deb to push the file and regularize us", said the teachers.
