AGARTALA, Sep 25 (TIWN): Under Kishan Sangharsha Samannoy Samiti led by various Left Parties and Farmers' unit a massive rally has been organized in Agartala. Thousands of agitators have joined the protest, raising voice against the Farm-Bill passed under the Modi Govt in the Parliament. Thousands of people have protested against the Anti-Farmer bill. Talking to media, Senior CPI-M leader, former State Finance Minister Badal Choudhury said, "BJP Govt has passed the bill in Parliament in totally illegal manner, by butchering the democracy. BJP Govt's ideology is to handover the Agriculture and other sectors to the corporates and this bill is one of such an examples paving the way to convert the farmers into Slaves in the hands of the Corporates. This Bill is enough to convert farmers into slaves as all corporate sectors will be controlling the agriculture. There will be no minimum price to the farmers and FCI's role is doubtable. Farmers are already in problems due to debts and now what will happen to the farmers due to the Anti-Farm bill ?"
"It will cause only profit of corporates where they will be able to buy grains at their own choice of rate and then to sale them at high prices by fooling the farmers. All the fascist bills are attempted to be passed in the Parliament now and everyday 8 to 10 bills are being passed", Badal Choudhury added.
