Police Filed Suo-Moto Case against 10323 Teachers for Secretariat Protest : Can Cases, Arrests stop 10323 Teachers Protests ?

AGARTALA, Sep 25 (TIWN): NCC Police has filed a suo-moto case against terminated 10323 teachers aftermath their massive protest in Secretariat on 23rd September. This case was filed amid heavy lathi-charge on the former teachers and condemnation statewide for police's brutality on teachers. But, question raises, whether such cases and arrests can stop the fire of the teachers protests, who were promised by BJP before election to keep secure their jobs ? Ironically, the police which are now acting as saviour of the BJP Leaders, Ministers were called by CM Biplab Deb on 20th September as unworthy to be in job except being qualified from Communists families.

Amid all these, reportedly, NCC Police Station's SI Dipanjan Majumder has taken a case against the agitating teachers with Case No- 133 / 2020 under IPC- 370, 353, 506, 34 and Tripura Police Act 82.

Around 500 teachers' names are in the case followed by the democratic protest whereas Congress State President cum senior High Court Advocate Pijush Biswas has assured the teachers for all legal helps at free, asking them not to worry. He also condemned the lathi-charge of Police on the agitators who were protesting democratically.
