AGARTALA, Sep 22 (TIWN): Amid 7 lakhs of unemployment, less than 2000 appointment in non-technical posts in Tripura although CM Biplab Deb promised about 10,000 job appointments soon yesterday in the Assembly.

As per Education Minister Ratanlal Nath's press meet's primary impression reported from the Secretariat around 10,868 posts may be total recruited out of which 1,280 posts will be LDC and 9268 posts for multipurpose workers and other few posts. For these posts the 10,323 teachers may apply till 31, 2023 and these jobs will be Fixed Pay system and will be taken by a New institutions but not TPSC. Unemployed youths will ofcourse appear in those posts but as per the basic idea gained from the press meet, it's visible that those 10,000 posts will not be taken immediately but in phased manner and it may take 5 years also as in first over not above 2000 posts can be appointed as per Finance Dept's objections.

At the very beginning of the BJP-IPFT Govt in state, Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma claimed that Tripura's employment is massive than the need in compare to other states and from then, job-recruitments have been downed in Govt Depts. But before coming in power, BJP promised to give 50,000 Govt jobs in first 1-year.
