AGARTALA, Sep 22 (TIWN): Another death of an youth in GB hospital allegedly for the mistreatment of hospital authority. The family alleged that their patient was completely well and even the doctors also said after diagnosis that his condition is good but due to the injection he was given, he immediately succumbed to death.

Reportedly, the patient identified as Ajay Shil (22) resident of Melaghar was admitted to Gomati District hospital with chest pain. As his condition was deteriorating the hospital authority referred him to GB hospital for better treatment. After they took him to hospital, the on duty doctor after attempting all the necessary diagnosis said that his condition is well and he will be completely fine, said the deceased's brother. But after they injected one medicine his brother immediately died.

The deceased's mother also said that the oxygen mask was troubling him, he repeatedly asked the doctors to remove the oxygen mask as it caused him extreme breathing problem. But the medical staffs allegedly did not listen to him and said he will be okay within few minutes. This can be caused due to the oxygen leakage that GB is reeling since February this year. This can turn to be nightmare for the patients as the lesser oxygen mask will not let the patient have the natural oxygen nor the oxygen from cylinder, resulting death of the patient.

However, the doctors and concerned authority did not make any comment on it. The victim's brother sought justice and strong action against it. He also said that both of the brothers are BJP members and asked CM Biplab Deb to look after this matter.
