AGARTALA, Sep 22 (TIWN): Economic downfall, unemployment have hit the state Tripura along with the nation under the "Modiconomy", resulted in a successful 12 hours strike observed by the opposition Congress, where public gave its response to the Govt silently. Police's neutral role and proper actions have kept the law and order stable amid violence provocation by ruling party BJP in Tripura during 12 hours strike of the opposition Congress party. In Aagrtala, highest numbers of footages were published by TIWN where netizens have slammed the BJP for creating unnecessary unrest throughout the capital town and provoking violence by standing infront of the Congress Bhawan, raising BJP's slogan. In some incidents BJP, Congress activists came face to face whereas CRPF controlled the situation and BJP activists were seen running away from the ground.

In case of Udaipur, after police's neutral role, the BJP activists gheraoed the Police station whereas in Kailshahar, police had to use tear gas to control the situation.
