AGARTALA, Sep 16 (TIWN): In a press conference held in the evening at Secretariat Law Minister Ratanlal Nath on Wednesday has said that 2051 persons total arrested in Tripura for not wearing Masks, Rs. 18, 86,800 fined in Tripura.
The statement came after central team had observed that people are reluctant to wear masks in Tripura.
Informing media, Ratanlal Nath said, "On 18th and 19th September there will be massive enforcement for mask-wearing and already Govt has taken many actions against the violators, many arrested and even FIRs also have been lodged".
He further informed, "From 23.3.202 to 15.9.2020 total 10,560 persons were arrested, 526 vehicles have been seized, 302 bikes, 96 auto, 44 Tomtom, 65 E-Rickshaw. Total 97 FIRs are and fine imposed over Rs. 2.57 crores in Lockdown and Curfew"
