AGARTALA, Sep 12 (TIWN): Instead of thanking BJP MLA Sudip Roy Barman and his team for saving GB hospital COVID patients by bringing the oxygen pressure in control on Friday night where Sudip Barman was informed by patients about the condition through phone, today reacting over the incident, BJP MP Pratima Bhowmik gave a shocking reply saying 'It's an Act of Sabotage'.

"They did not come with permission and almost entered by force there. Also, there likely an intrigue, whereas our Chief Minister and me both are clear orators. We are working very positively, but if it's an intrigue, it will be found out", said MP Pratima Bhowmik amid her Govt did not take action against health staffs amid severe serious cases came out like death of 3 days old child while testing, death in oxygen crisis etc.  Now, High Court also had to interfere in the COVID-19 mismanagement with various reports are coming out on medical negligence.

On yesterday night, Sudip Barman had done the work of the Health Minister, although, he was sacked from the Ministry.

Today, talking to TIWN, the former Health Minister Sudip Barman who took the lead role to save patients in GB hospital, which falls under his constituency has said, "Around 2 to 3 calls I had received in my phone from GB hospital. Patients, Doctors all were nervous, tensed as GB hospital's COVID-19 Centre's oxygen pressure downed heavily. Patients were suffocating and can't breath. They also called the officials but maximum of them had switched off their mobile phones and other did not pick up. I called the Biomedical Instrumentation Engineer Ratul Dey and thank God he picked up the phone and gave immediate response and rushed to me and both of us together had visited GB hospital. I have also seen that oxygen level were showing "zero" but as I am not expert in that field, Ratul Dey only handled the whole matter. Then I came out at 2.30 am and Ratul Dey was on spot for more time".
