AGARTALA, Sep 10 (TIWN): “Justice for 10323†forum had called a massive rally today in Khumulwng seeking livelihood for them, reminding BJP Govt about its pre-poll promise, but huge police force reportedly has been used against the terminated teachers, erupted massive resentment and generated tension. They could not even complete the rally also at Khumulwng that just with the starting of the rally all were stopped by police and arrested. Like opposition political rallies, Tripura BJP Govt seems has used forces on Teachers rallies, which was organized totally without any political motive and just for the sake of livelihood of the teachers who are left jobless for last 6 months and around 70 of them died, many died in hyper-tension and financial burden's pressures on minds.
Although before election, BJP guaranteed that once BJP will be voted to power, it will continue or reappoint the 10323 teachers jobs but now taking 360 degree turn, the BJP Govt yet far from actualization of promise and said, in Vision Document BJP did not promise anything about jobs for 10323 with guarantee.
In Agartala talking to media, a teacher Dalia Das from “Amra 10323” organization has said that many teachers were arrested before joining the programme at Khumulwng and then police force had been used. In Agartala also, lots of police personnel have been imposed, stopping the former teachers to stage any protest and also as a result of extreme police force nobody could join the protest in Khumulwng.
