AGARTALA, Sep 5 (TIWN): Tripura’s MEME factory produced another comedy with ‘SHIP’ transport in low water level Gomati River. Sonamura ‘SHIP-project is far from real existence and Tripura Govt’s lack of vision has embarrassed the Govt’s image as even after much press conferences, objections from the opposition parties over Gomati river’s navigability capacity Biplab Deb Govt took the issue very egoistically and resulted horrifying when the vessel came from Bangladesh’s Daudkandi could not enter smoothly till Sonamura jetty. Although it’s a small boat but for the maiden water-rote Dredging like works also was not done, although State Govt asserted earlier that there is no lack of funding from central govt for projects. However, after this event when Tripura CM along with Transport Minister Pranajit Singha Roy received the vessel, CM said that it’s a part of PM Modi’s Asta-Laxmi and Tripura is all set to be highest ever in the economy and almost set to be a model state.

The boat-sized vessel has arrived in Tripura’s Sonamura today in the presence of Chief Minister Biplab Deb.

Transport Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, MP Pratima Bhowmik, MLA Arun Chandra Bhoumik were present on that occasion. 

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Saturday has said that water-ways is now opened for the low-cost transports giving a boost to the connectivity.

Tripura CM Biplab Deb has asserted that the Model State is ready and by 29 months the foundation of Model state is already done and by 3 years surely everything will be completed.

However, due to CM Biplab Deb's premature announcements about ship's arrival long before the experiment started, the BJP Govt had to face a lot of embarrassing situations, specially through social media trolling.
