AGARTALA, Aug 29 (TIWN): In the ongoing onslaught against the intensive ganja cultivation in Madhupur, the Madhupur police and Sipahijala forest department jointly destroyed huge amount of weed plants on Friday.
In a operation on 3 long hours the police personnel and forest department members destroyed 6,20000 Weed plants. The operation was implemented on Radhanagar Panchayat area under Kamalasagar Constituency.
The operation was led by Madhupur PS's OC Tapash Das. He said that such operations will be continued in future days also.
