Tripura Observed 74th Independence Day : State Govt, Political Parties, various Institutions, Organizations hoisted Tri-Colour National flag

AGARTALA, Aug 15 (TIWN): On the occasion of 74th Independence Day. Tripura like every year has observed it with full enthusiasm. This year however, digital celebration went on peak due to COVID-19 led restrictions against gathering but official programmes remained unhalted with social distancing. Like every year, this year also, Independence Day was observed like auspicious rituals in Agartala Assam Rifles ground. It is the 74th Independence Day of India. Minister Ratanlal Nath hoisted National Flag at the Secretariat and paid tribute to martyrs at Agartala Saheed Bedi and CM Biplab Deb hoisted the main programme at Assam Rifles ground. However, due to COVID-19, this year cultural programmes were cancelled and also it was conducted in limited time period.

Chief Minister Biplab Deb hoisted flag and the programme, in the presence of Police chief and other dignitaries.

In all subdivisions of Tripura, this Independence Day was celebrated with full enthusiasm. Various institutions, political parties too observed the day.
