AGARTALA, Aug 10 (TIWN): Patient party pointed huge allegations against the IGM hospital authority after their family member died today.

A person identified as Pradip Ghosh (50) was admitted in IGM hospital on Monday after he over-drank last night and fell sick. His wife alleged that after seeing him in a critical condition also, the hospital authority left the patient without any primary treatment for Covid-19 test.

His wife also said that the hospital authority took her husband for CT Scan. Although he had no injuries or any other issue in his head. The person allegedly died when he was been taken out from the CT Scan room.

The wife said her husband did not have any other health problem. She accused the hospital authority completely behind her husband's death.

"I made a big mistake by admitting my husband in this hospital. If he was treated in home, he would be atleast alive. Now I have nothing left except his body. They killed my husband," his wife said while crying.

This is not the first time a patient died for the negligence allegation of the hospital authority in the State. Tripura's prominent hospitals like IGM, GB are constantly on patient party's accusation point for their loved one's deaths.

People alleged that, during the time when Sudip Barman was the Health Minister of the state, things were not this much ugly.
