Police brutally beaten fruit seller in Agartala, injured severely

AGARTALA, Aug 6 (TIWN): A fruit seller was brutally beaten by Tripura Police in Agartala.
The victim said that he was unaware about the fact that fruit shops are closed on August 1st and he opened the shop.
All of a sudden police came and asked all shop-keepers to close shops. He was also closing the shop but police started beating him.
He went anyhow to his home but his pain increased. He went to IGM hospital and referred to GB. There, Doctors found that his heart was suffered from a severe injury out of that.
The victim has sought justice to the incident.
The victim has been identified as Shyam Sundar Banik, resident of West Pratapgarh. His shop is at Gol Bazar.
