AGARTALA, July 28 (TIWN): Congress leader Gopal Roy has strongly criticized Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb as he hided COVID-19 deaths of four persons on yesterday.

Only very few media with limited information published that news as earlier Law Minister Ratanlal Nath told media that except THE highest authority nobody should publish COVID-19 serious data but it was Tripura CM Biplab Deb who did not publish COVID-19 death data, which had to be the most important data. Later media houses were bound to publish the news without CM’s tweet.

TIWN also received footages where COVID-19 deceased were cremated, but since yesterday across media houses, due to Tripura CM’s incomplete tweeter information, all the confusions started.

However, Tripura Govt website has confirmed 17 deaths.

Earlier, sacked Health Minister Sudip Barman wrote a letter to CM Biplab Deb alleging incomplete information in his tweet but this time CM’s tweet totally deleted the information on COVID-19.
