AGARTALA, July 26 (TIWN): Although Govt of Tripura had exempted the markets from lockdown affects, still mass gathering was observed in Agartala markets today centering the 3 days lockdown from tomorrow.
Social distances were broken, mass gathering were caught in cameras statewide.
Not only prices of vegetables went high but also shortage of vegetables were felt in markets.
Ahead of lockdown, addressing media, West DM Sandeep Mahatme said, “The effect of lockdown will be started from today 9 pm today. All shops to remain close except grocery, medicine shops etc. Marchant Association will take all related decisions”
“Less than 1 metre front area holding shops can give space for 1 person only and the shops whose front area is between 1 or 2 metre there 2 persons can stand. Masks are mandatory for all”, said DM West.
