AGARTALA, June 12 (TIWN): Heavy rain once again has thrashed the capital city Agartala, halting the normal lives of public in the city. Drain and Rain water mixed water-flows created a "shitty" condition of the city, although in footage it looked beautiful like Venice, but public suffering remained high on ground. Like every year, the monsoon has remained as a big worry for the capital city residents as even after Government’s much efforts and purchasing new water discharging machines, the water logging problems continues to haunt the masses. On Tuesday, office goers faced major problems while returning home as by afternoon almost all major routes remained paralyzed due to water-logging. However, in few areas the passers went with waist level water whereas in few areas walkers chose to cross the water amid loggings. Municipality workers were engaged in works, discharging water and functioning the machines.

Various Govts changed, many political parties took oath but the problem solution methods remained at moot.
