AGARTALA, July 18 (TIWN): With the increasing number of Covid positive cases Tripura police and administration are getting more strict in term of maintaining rules and regulations circulated to defeat the pandemic.
Tripura police to charge people for not wearing a mask, 200 rs for first time and rupees 400 if repeats.
On Saturday Tripura traffic police have organised one campaign against people who aren't wearing masks. They have charged fine to the people who were found without mask in Karnel chowmuhni.
While addressing media one senior traffic officer said, "In this crucial time everyone should follow the rules. Although people are getting more conscious these days, there are not so many people who are violating the norms but if some people are not wearing masks we are instructed to fine them. For the first time, we are charging rupees 200, and if the person repeats it will be rupees 400 in the second time."
