AGARTALA, July 8 (TIWN): Relieves for arriving Passengers in Tripura as COVID-19 Antigen Tests to detect COVID-Positive persons by 1 hour of arrival and after they tests Negative persons to be sent for Home Quarantine, Positive persons to hospitals. Earlier, it was demanded that whoever is coming in the state should be sent for institutional quarantine till the sample results come, whereas Minister Ratanlal Nath has announced on Tuesday that with Antigen Tests, passengers’ health status can be known by 1 hour and accordingly based on the sample results, action will be taken. Tripura reported 1,680 COVID-19 Positive cases, 1,219 patients already recovered, whereas 1 person has died.

Minitser Nath further said, not only in Airport  but in roadways also the persons who will come via Churaibari will be subjected to tests.
