AGARTALA, June 29 (TIWN): Tripura Congress President Pijush Biswas on Monday has lambasted the Modi Govt over fuel price hikes saying, India’s fuel price should be at Rs. 30 as per international prices.

“Everyday fuel price is increasing, whereas the fuel price should be Rs. 30 highest. Earlier, in UPA era if international markets increase fuel price, then only it increased in India but now when at international level it is decreasing, fuel prices are increasing everyday. Only 50 paisa rise gives the Govt Rs. 50,000 Crores of profit and now one can imagine how Modi Govt is looting the country”, said Pijush Biswas.

Tripura Congress has staged a massive protest on Monday, announcing more protests in coming days in voice against increasing fuel prices. On a cart, a bike with Modi’s cartoon picture was hanged and the workers of the Congress walked across the city raising Anti-Modi slogans.
