AGARTALA, June 22 (TIWN): Tripura Congress President Pijush Biswas has stirred a criticism in his address to the Chief Minister of the state, while talking about the indigenous issue.
At the onset of ADC election, when limelight is on hills, targeting Tripura Chief Minister Bipab Deb’s indigenous meeting, the Congress President said, “It is nice that the CM held a meeting with the indigenous leaders but it is also important that he must now support the community with financial reliefs. From Chakma to all communities are suffering in financial distress due to COVID-19. Let us place our previous demand that is to give Rs. 7,500 to poor per month as a part of COVID-19 crisis help”.
Pijush Biswas said this while addressing in a press meet at the Congress Bhawan.
