AGARTALA, June 22 (TIWN): Due to upsurge of COVID-19 pandemic, like all other functions, the traditional ‘Sindur Khela’ has also been restricted this year inside the temple premise.

Every year on Amabuchi this festival is held with colourful marks. The biggest programme is held at Assam but along with the celebration of the Ambubachi ritual at Kamakhya Temple in Assam, the ritual is also observed at Agartala Laxmi Narayan temple with pomp and gaiety. 

But this year, it remained limited due to the restriction over temples.
