‘10323 Teachers Case’s Hearing in Supreme Court most likely on July 27’ : Law Minister

AGARTALA, June 21 (TIWN): Tripura Law Minister Ratanlal Nath has arouse a hope among the terminated 10323 teachers, saying, the case which was filed by Tripura Govt in the Supreme Court to appoint 10323 teachers in non-teaching posts, to be heard in July last week and Govt is hoping the date to be fallen on July 27. Addressing media, the Law Minister said that the BJP Govt is very much sympathetic to 10323 teachers, although from a section it has stirred up that the Govt has no concern about the shattered teachers. “We will go with law, because lectures can be given by many but when contempt petition is filed, then nobody will come forward to save and the officers will be in trouble”, said Minister Ratanlal Nath.

“We have given Rs. 35,000 among 10323 teachers to the sacked teachers”, Nath told media.

“Our stand on 10323 teachers issue is same and we will give our stand by 2 weeks in a separate case filed by Manas Bhowmik and others in the Supreme Court, who appealed to the court claiming that during lockdown period nobody can be terminated. We will give our stand for the welfare of the teachers under the law”, assured Minister Ratanlal Nath.
