AGARTALA, June 18 (TIWN): Ambulance without Oxygen caused Death of cardiac arrest Patient in Agartala broke out mass bitterness against the State Govt as it has demonstrated a total failure of the Health Dept to provide minimum health care facilities. When Tripura Govt spokesperson Ratanlal Nath is busy with COVID-19 commentating claiming the State is performing better than many other states, it's time to get back to non-Covid health care as Govt’s negligence is exposed. The looming threat of a shortage of necessary items and other supplies for health care system manifested with Tarun Singh’s pathetic death in ambulance. The patient was reportedly brought to ILS hospital but while coming to the hospital, the patient died on road being deprive of oxygen. After such a negligence when the patient died, the officials desperately attempted to lie that the ambulance had oxygen. Then the family member went inside the ambulance and shown before media that there is no oxygen inside.
This is not the first time that Govt hospital and dept are under controversy but due to Govt’s lack of monitoring such incidents are increasing. There are various allegations against Govt and Private hospitals in Tripura but State Govt has not ordered a single probe in those cases. Values of lives thus decreasing in the state. This incident happened just few days after a little girl died in loss of blood in Govt run IGM hospital. Such increasing problems are also raising question on the Health Ministry and its control to the private hospitals. Deceased's family has sought justice.
