Indian Medical Association writes letter to Tripura CM about Health Services issues

AGARTALA, June 15 (TIWN): IMA Tripura brunch writes letter to CM Biplab Kumar Deb informing him about the situations of Tripura's health departments and suggested for fill up the lapses.

In this letter they have mentioned about the 'No cleanliness' of the hospital wards and surroundings, bad condition of washrooms and toilets, proper repairing of doors and partitions, inadequate space for health care providers etc.

They complained about the health department for throwing waste materials, food particles and other garbages that can aggravate the desease conditions or may invite other new health related problems.

They mentioned that, "Patients are complaining during our round regarding foul smell, surrounding their room and toilets due to that. We convinced them that it will be removed very soon." 
They also have mentioned that, "Patients are complaining regarding the quality of foods. They request us that we don't need delicious food, just provide palatable items for passing the days."
The IMA requested the state health ministry under CM Biplab Kumar Deb to take effective steps as soon as possible.
