AGARTALA, June 15 (TIWN): Inhuman treatment to Environment Science, Geology, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science aspirants in Tripura Forest Service Grade-II examination of TPSC has been alleged. According to a complaint received from aspirants - On 5th June, 2020 TPSC uploaded a notification in their official site about Tripura Forest Service exam, Grade-II. In this regard, they also uploaded the syllabus in the official website which is basically a memo No.F.2(1)-GA(P&T)/98(L) dated 31/12/2019 issued by GA(P&T) signed by Senior TCS servant Md.Habibur Rahman.

UPSC keeps total 14 optional papers, Tripura has 13.Out of 13 optional papers some optional like Geology, Environmental Science, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science etc are not included by TPSC. Although recently Electrical Engineering Optional was included by the TPSC where UPSC controlled Indian Forest Service exam does not give chances to take this Engineering subject. It's a good step by TPSC and many Electrical Engineering students will be benefited.

The State Public Service commission of Assam, West Bengal, Tamilnadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand  etc kept more than 15 Optional Papers where there aforesaid subjects are also included as optional. The state wise syllabus can be seen in the uploaded pdfs and texts are marked with yellow shades.

If TPSC can add a subject through its autonomous power then why such inclusion for Geology, Environmental Science, Animal Husbandry etc cannot be done? 

**Geology remains one of the favourite optional papers by IIT, JNU, BHU, AMU graduates in Indian Forest Service exam. Today many students are also preparing for IAS,IPS,IFS exam so they also know the importance of this scoring optional. 

** In every General Degree colleges of Tripura Environmental Science are taught. Many topics of this subject are also taught in Engineering, Medical, Pharmaceutical, Agricultural, Fishery Science etc courses. Study Materials are also available as all Science & Technical students get the opportunity to read in their colleges.

** Tripura’s lone Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science College is located at Bodhjung Nagar but its students are also going to miss this opportunity.
