AGARTALA, June 12 (TIWN): Like every year, the monsoon has remained as a big worry for the capital city residents as even after Government’s much efforts and purchasing new water discharging machines, the water logging problems continues to haunt the masses. On Friday office goers faced major problems while returning home as by afternoon almost all major routes remained paralyzed due to water-logging. However, in few areas the passers went with waist level water whereas in few areas walkers chose to cross the water amid loggings. Nevertheless, Urban Development has targeted a SMART City project where the city by timebeing to be freed from such major problems but question is how far it can be controlled as India’s various big cities are too reeling under same problem of water logging.

However workers were deployed on spot immediately and they were seen working for the water machines. Also the workers were given necessary items as raincoat for the purpose.
