UDAIPUR, June 8 (TIWN): Devotees rushed to Mata Tripura Sundari temple in Udaipur Subdivision under Gomati District in Tripura, which has opened from today after a long door-close period due to national lockdown with the outbreak of deadly coronavirus. Today amid rains and stormy weather, people rushed to the temple premise from the early morning, although social distances were well maintained. Also screening of each devotee was done after sanitization. Due to the shutdown of the temple, the temple premise's businessmen were also undergoing tremendous problems, hopefully, from now, they will be getting back their regular business.

But, now small shops with variety items were seen in the temple, neither all shops opened today.

Talking to a devotee, he said, “I could not see my mother (Tripura Sundari Goddess) for a long time. I got the news that from today this temple will be opened. Yesterday, I made plan to come here. Today, I just rushed to the temple to see my mother disregarding the weather changes. I am very happy after coming here".

From 9 am to 5 pm the devotees can visit but no social festival is allowed in the temple, said priest Prasenjit Chakraborty.
