AGARTALA, May 29 (TIWN): After more than 2 months of Airlines suspension from Agartala MBB Airport due to COVID-19 outbreak and national lockdown, today the flight services have come under functional with all the guidelines announced by the Central Govt to follow. Finally, the Domestic flight services have been resumed in Tripura today and after 25th March it is today that the scheduled regular flight services have come under operational. Talking to media, Airport Director V.K.Seth said that Indigo flight has landed today with 166 passengers and more 167 passengers will be taken off from Agartala Airport. He said that the services likely to be increased from 1st June as most doubted service which from Kolkata NSCBI Airport is functional now. He said that this is the breaking of suspension of regular flight services which halted from 25th March. “The management was excellent and the guidelines of Airport operations like social distancing, testing – all were maintained without any compromiseâ€, said the Airport Director.

The flight landed at 10.15 AM on Friday. From June 1st, the passengers flight services to be increased, as per prediction of the Airport Authority.
