AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, April 13 (TIWN): All MGNREGA pending wages costing Rs. 93 crores have been sanctioned by Central Govt for Tripura, said Law Minister Ratanlal Nath on Sunday while addressing media about the economic situation. Taking a dig at the critics, blaming funds are not cleared from Delhi, Nath has claimed all wages are cleared and in case anyone hasn’t gotten it is also under process. "No Pending MGNREGA Wage to Workers in Tripura" : Law Minister He further clarified that MGNREGA workers got their pending wages at Rs. 94 crores. Nobody is remained with pending issue out of them 40 crores are in tribal areas.The Minister has announced about that big decision taken today. Addressing media, Law Minister Ratanlal Nath said, “There is no doubt that people are suffering with tremendous exhausts and facing severe problems due to lockdown, but it is the first responsibility of a Govt to save the humans first".
"Economic losses can be mitigated. May be it take some time, but if civilization does not exist then, no loss and profit to be counted. Govt is receiving various suggestions and also taking various decisions", he said.
Our Govt has decided that brick-industry workers will get 1000 rupees and also free rations. Ratanlal Nath stretched about agriculture works by maintaining social distances.

"Till now, we gave that responsibility on the owners to bear the workers expenses, but now we have decided that 21,899 migrant labourers. If Banking fails, then they will be given cash”, Nath told media.
Govt earlier announced Rs. 1000 for daily workers, rickshaw drivers along with 3 months free rations. AMC and various social organizations are too working hard to fight against hunger, poverty amid COVID-19 Lockdown.
Till now, Tripura has total 2 COVID-19 Positive cases, one from Udaipur and another from Damchara (North Tripura). Both patients’ conditions are stable.
