AGARTALA, Feb 26 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb who is now a days busy in taking Sunday lunches, using helicopters at Govt expenditure to attend party workers marriage functions has yet no time to visit the homeless victims of Kanchanpur. Even after much criticism and statewide poverty, Chief Minister is strict to his baseless comments and unbelievable data uttering, when various problems have gripped the state. An inhuman politics is being played in Tripura by BJP-IPFT Govt which left 93 families are foodless, homeless since months but the Home Ministry has simply failed to look into the matter, suspected of not helping the local Bengalis, keeping the indigenous vote banks in mind for the upcoming ADC Election. The victims are just paying for the poor law and order under the BJP Govt along with Political murder incidents in last 2 years.
Reportedly, since December 10, 2019, when some 150 miscreants ransacked and looted the shops and houses of 93 Bengali families, the families are left homeless and have taken shelter in Ananda Bazar Police station.
They are living in the second floor of the Anandabazar police station. From 19th February Govt stopped ration supplies to the homeless people in pressure to go back to home without any compensation when their houses were burnt.
The locals allegedly earlier also became refugees following a series of violent incidents from 2000 to 2003. The victims raised question whereas they are humans or not, whether they deserve to live like humans or not.
On the other side, after Brus were given a package by Central Govt, on being asked by media about the Bengalis crisis there, CM Biplab Deb replied, “Who asked them to stay in Police station ?”
On the other side, Tripura’s 26% revenue was increased by imposing taxes on the people whereas maximum are spent in the luxuries of CM, his family and serving the BJP Party. Even MGNREGA funds are going for Mandal and various activists of the BJP Party.
