AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Jan 23 (TIWN): BJP former IT cell members are facing strange consequences after quitting BJP. Rahul Das who before 2 months joined CPI-M leaving BJP, found his home set with fire by BJP miscreants. No character-development of the BJP Party in Tripura even after replacing former President Biplab Deb with Manik Saha and violent nature of the party didn’t meet any development whereas ex-BJP activists who chose to join other parties met similar fates with house burning and arrests. Earlier, BJP arrested Anupam Pal, burnt his house and attacked his family who was the chief of BJP’s IT cell and also right hand of BJP Tripura observer Sunil Deodhar.

He was the founder of “Cholo Paltai”. In case of Rahul Das the fate is same as Anupam Paul. The BJP miscreants have burnt house of Rahul Das who joined CPI-M on November-17-2019, quitting BJP's IT cell membership.

While leaving the party, Rahul Das said that this is BJP’s nature that it will show some lust and then nothing will be given to the people after the election and on yesterday after Rahul Das’s house was burnt. After the incident, Rahul Das said, “This is BJP and its nature”.

Reportedly, all the family members of Rahul Das found themselves locked by fire and on the verge of death. Later anyhow they came out of their rooms and survived.

It can be noted here that BJP under Biplab Deb’s presidentship had burnt over thousands of houses along with political murders, statue bulldozing etc and now with the replacement of President it was expected that under new President Manik Saha, things may change but nothing happened and the violence continues.
