AGARTALA, Jan 13 (TIWN): In a surprising press conference on Sunday, Tripura Congress’s Acting President Pijush Biswas and former President Birjit Sinha have spoken out just BJP’s “Mann-Ki-Baat” and all the demands raised by these two Congress leaders in the evening press conference and all the decisions which announced were totally against the Congress party’s increasing strength and unity. When national senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh first was to raise Bru people’s problem (in November 2019) after the BJP Govt stopped rationing for the Brus in Kanchanpur saying, “Ration is one’s constitutional right under food security act-2013”, all of a sudden Birjit Sinha and Pijush Biswas both today demanded Brus' push-back saying the people who went to Mizoram from Brus recently are facing “No Problem” under the BJP Govt there.

They also mentioned, Central Govt is giving rationing and gave well packages, infact, BJP’s “Mann Ki Baat” ! What Birjit Sinha and Pijush Biswas said is exactly which BJP is unable to say before ADC Election. How far BJP will be helpful by their anti-Congress activity it is to be seen, but the damage by this press meet today is beyond repair for the Congress party itself ahead of ADC Election.

Not only this, both of them formed committees, held press meet without Gopal Roy and Subal Bhowmik who are leading Congress with massive leadership and as soon as Subal Bhowmik was to to disclose BJP fake SC MLAs names, this anti-Congress activity was done.

Noteworthy, yesterday Subal Bhowmik led rally with SC members were huge and big. Pijush Biswas however signalled, many activists and leaders are violating guidelines, calling Arindam Bhattacharjee (recently arrested IT cell member) as "PROBLEMATIC", whereas Pijush Biswas did not give any legal assistance. Instead Arindam created a movement led by Subal Bhowmik and Gopal Roy who went till High Court.

Once again it is proven, without Subal Bhowmik and Gopal Roy honesty in the Congress party is right now rare. Indeed, today’s press meet was weird and unexpected.

Thus, the infighting of Congress party in Tripura going beyond repair and newly appointed Acting President Pijush Kanti Biswas expressed little resentments over the party activists free-working without asking the authority.

IT cell of Congress member Arindam Bhattacharjee, who recently influenced youths and also became icon for the truth-speakers, spending a night in the West Agartala PS lockup for one night and for whom  Congress leaders as Subal Bhowmik and Gopal Roy fought in the court, today Pijush Biswas announced, Arindam Bhattacharjee is nobody in the party as media have been claiming that he is IT cell member / chief.

Earlier, in the welcoming programme of new President Pijush Biswas, Gopal Roy and Subal Bhowmik were absent.

Yesterday, there was massive protest rally led by Subal Bhowmik who is going to expose the fake cast certificate holder SC MLAs of BJP.

But in a shocking outcome, today Birjit Sinha and Pijush Biswas stated in a different tone and asked all elected members not to do anything without permission of the Congress new committee.

Also Birjit Sinha and Pijush Biswas team demanded dismiss of Dumboor project and push back of Reang community’s people, which are resembled to pro-BJP demands.

Arindam Bhattacharjee Case : Congress leader Subal Bhowmik referred huge pressures on lower court judge who was bound to add few new IPCs immediately after the bail of Congress IT Cell member Arindam Bhattacharjee was accepted. Subal Bhowmik blames Ratanlal Nath, Biplab Deb for pressuring judiciaries. Congress realized that in the next hearing Arindam Bhattacharjee will not get bail and thus Congress appealed in the High Court, where Chief Justice A A Kureshi has issued notice to Govt and asked I/O how such IPCs could be imposed in Arindam case ? The judgement stated, “There are prima facie grounds for examine further into the matter. A serious question would be even if the allegation made against the complaint are taken on their face value can it be stated that any of the above mentioned offences are made out ?” High Court has issued a stay order today in Congress IT cell member Arindam Bhattacharjee’s police investigation, who was arrested on January 4 night over a facebook post.Earlier on January 5, a lower court had rejected police remand plea in Arindam Bhattacharjee case. He was arrested on January 5 night from his home by West Agartala Police over an anti-BJP facebook post.Police arrested him after one Victor Shome, who is BJP media cell head filed a case in West PS.Arindam didn’t put any objectional thing in facebook, rather expressed concern of hacking if they call in BJP’s given missed call number in support of CAA 88662-88662 which is given even by various frauds, Netflix offer and beauty girls. After the hearing, Congress leader Subal Bhowmik said that in last two months Arindam was called for at least 10 times with various issues and lastly arrested. Advocate Arindam Bhattacharjee, Advocate Raghunath Mukharjee represented victim Congress Activist Arindam Bhattacharjee. Also a notice was issued to the State Govt staying any type of action or arrest of Arindam Bhattacharjee.

After all these, Pijush Biswas called the issue as “Problem” and “Congress has no link with that”. This action by acting President Pijush Biswas has again given oxygen to the BJP who failed to send Arindam in jail.
