AGARTALA, Jan 11 (TIWN): Increasing apolitical rallies in Tripura have rattled the BJP Govt from the very beginning of 2020. After BJP MLA Sudip Barman kicked off an apolitical rally in Agartala raising voice against ‘Crime against Women’, another apolitical rally with indigenous people’s massive gathering was organized where various parties beyond political identities joined hands with Ex-Congress President Pradyot Manikya, the Royal scion against BJP’s Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), with whom recently Union Home Minister Amit Shah held meeting. Pradyot Manikya who started one organization TIPRA today witnessed huge gathering till the eyes are dilated. Although, it is not a political gathering but significantly it is raising political curiosity and ofcourse eyebrows for BJP ahead of ADC Election where Anti-CAA has seen much supports. Addressing at the gathering Pradyot Manikya said, “In politics it is not allowed to speak hard, rather it’s suggested that one leader should speak lightly. But, in Motor Stand (Congress State HQ) last year, I told Narendra Modi that CAA will never be accepted and today also the stand is same and strong. Today this Bubagra (King) does not belong to the Congress but to the TIPRA (the organization which was founded today)”. He told the gathering, “In last year about Madhav Bari violence incident only one MLA stood and raised voice. I salute him and today all the parties leaders are together here beyond any political narrowness, rather for “thagcha” (unity) with only one voice “No CAA”.

Pradyot Manikya further said, “When various problems have hit the communities people including Mog, Reang, Jamatia, Debbarma and others, you are brining people from Bangladesh, welcoming them. Why ?”

Manikya further stated, how his predecessors had welcomed refugees from other countries but when his own people demanded their rights, their voices  are suppressed.

With all these, BJP is undergoing stress ahead of ADC election, whereas BJP’s MP Rebati Tripura said that even his own point of view doesn’t keep any value when his own party imposed whip and he had to support CAA. But, Pradyot Manikya said that he left his President post in Congress party because, first he belongs to his own people, then party.
