AGARTALA, Jan 11 (TIWN): CPI(M) supporters, workers, leaders marched the streets of the city protesting against barbaric act of burning and destroying CPI(M) Party offices at various places by BJP hooligans, on Friday.

Since inception of coalition government a role of terror prevails across the state and the BJP Government continues their post-poll violence to suppress the voices of oppositions.

The BJP under the rule of CM Biplab Deb continues perpetration of violence on their opposition CPI(M). The Communist supporters, workers, leaders are facing violence of BJP in the21 months of their rule indicating the undemocratic attitude and functioning of the ruling party.

The police and administration fails to protect democratic rights of political parties and the government has utterly failed to ensure peace in the state. In the face of aggressive BJP activists, government employees and police forces are effectively reduced to “mute spectators”.

CPI (M) Leader Pabitra Kar strongly condemned the barbaric act of burning and destroying party offices of CPI(M) at various places including Badharghat, Dhalkeshwar, Narshingarh, Kailasahar, and many others. He said, “In the name of picketing and agitating against the Strike on January8, the BJP Hooligans did all these activities to satisfy political retaliation in the state”. Kar added, the people of the state are well aware of the facts that the BJP are doing in the state and the end of their rule is very near.

“They are incapable to do any development , rather than destruction”, claimed CPI(M) Pabitra Kar. The people of Tripura knows the actual face of the BJP ruled by Biplab deb, and hence the Strike called by Trade Unions was successful and supported by the people.

The BJP Govt is trying to establish one-party rule in the state using muscle power and taking steps to silent opposition voices. A state of horror, insecurity prevails in the state under the rule of “Accidental chief minister”, Biplab Deb. Amidst the lost peace and tranquillity in the state, Tripura CM fails to take any actions against it and almost all the important issues that needs to be taken care of, are unheard and unseen by the CM.
