KAMALPUR, Nov 6 (TIWN) : 118th anniversary of Maharasjatra Festival and Fair to be concluded today amid the religious celebration of ‘Raas Lila’ of Lord Krishna in perfect devotion.

This religious and traditional festival will be formally inaugurated by MP Shankar Prasad Datta. Night-long praying, singing and dancing by the people of Manipuri Community will add to the festivity. Traditionally in that day people of Bishnupriya community from the entire state and outside would  throng in the streets of Baralutma. The organizers are hoping for great crowd will flood the streets of Baralutma today. The fair was inaugurated by Minister Naresh Jamatia on 3^rd November last.  

It is to be mentioned that, today Raas Jatra will also be observed at Panchasi village under this subdivision . In that celebration too, different Govt departments will present with their stalls.
