AGARTALA, Jan 5 (TIWN): IPFT Advisory Committee Chairman Budhirai Debbarma along with 150 IPFT members joined Congress party today.

Addressing media, Budhirai Debbarma said that the IPFT has fooled the people in the name of Tipraland and once get in power, all promises were forgotten.

Debbarma said that now only Congress has left as single party which can change Tripura in reality. He further criticized lawlessness situations and people’s poverty across the state under BJP-IPFT regime.

He further said that in the upcoming elections, the Congress will win with huge majority.

Budhuirai Debbarma was also retired TPS Officer.

Few BJP activists also joined Congress in allegation of increasing infighting in the party.
