AGARTALA, Jan 1 (TIWN): Former Deputy speaker Pabitra Kar on Wednesday has condemned BJP Govt’s brutality against media houses across Tripura referring attacks on Tripurainfoway to various channels and newspapers.

Talking to senior journalist Rajib Dutta in TIWN Office, Pabitra Kar said, “Tripurainfoway has continued its honest news reporting with much courage. We hope, the media will continue honest news reporting like this in coming days”.

“Tripurainfoway has been publishing those news items, which other media houses are not doing”, he added.

Reacting over Journalist Rajib Dutta’s question, how Tripurainfoway has changed its name and shape for existence, Pabitra Kar said, this is not the single one but many medias are under similar attacks. The Aajkal version has also been stopped recently.

“Whoever is showing truth, they are being attacked. But, the way Tripurainfoway is standing is itself great and I would thank the authority for its courage to fight back all odds”, Pabitra Kar said.
