AGARTALA, Dec 27 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has totally failed to visit slain Police officer Durga Chandra Hrangkhawl’s home who dedicated his life to fight against BJP era’s narcotic empire. It raised eyebrows at the CM’s role whether his members are involved in this case or top leaders are too engaged in nexus of the topmost authorities. Question raised, as even after one of brutal murder incident of Tripura Police officer Durga Chandra Hrangkhawl’s brutal murder by Sonamura’s drug smugglers neither the Chief Minister nor any party leader visited the victim’s house, which strengthens the allegations brought by Congress leader Gopal Roy that CM and his company’s nexus with such criminal gangs which led the ultimate end of the honest officer. Police said that 3 persons were arrested in this connection Ishak Miah and two noted drug smugglers, Idrish Miah of Sonamura and Abu Khayer of Jatrapur and the 3rd name could not be revealed but the prime accused in the brutal murder of the police officer are still at large. So far no press briefing was given by the Police Headquarter.

Sources earlier alleged, BJP MP Pratima Bhowmik’s brother Biswajit Bhowmik was in one of the cars which were carrying drugs or at least the vehicle/vehicles belong to Biswajit Bhowmik, against whom various local people brought allegation of drug smuggling whereas Ex-BJP Yuva Morcha Vice President of Sonamura said he can prove in court how Biswajit is rooted in narcotism.

Congress earlier has demanded CBI investigation in Police officer Durga Chandra Hrankhawl murder case.

The investigation is in cloud and Police headquarter failed yet to address media about the progress and details about the arrestees.

Chief Minister Biplab Deb visiting across state but skipped to meet the slain police officer who was martyred while trying to nab the drug-smugglers. Professional drug smugglers had killed Durga Chandra Hrangkhawl pre-planned, stated by a Minister of the state and assured full justice but with a suspicious reason, the case is scheduled to be “forgotten” and the masterminds yet at large.

Reacting over loopholes in the investigation Congress senior leader Gopal Roy said that such attitudes of Chief Minister proves that Biplab & his company is linked with Drug-smuggling network. Biplab Deb also failed to paid tribute to the martyr and sent Law Minister Ratanlal Nath who always takes lead role when party leaders’ are caught in crime just like Ram Prasad Pal case in the High Court, although people ironically election leaders to work for people but on the set of current political situation of India, honesty from leaders are almost nowhere seen. Infact DGP A K Sukla himself mentioned about the brutality of the murderer and promised no one will be pardoned.

Even after brutal murder of colleague Durga Chandra Hrangkhawl, Tripura Police has miserably failed to arrest the main kingpin in the murder case, opposition to media report although hinted chief involvement of ruling party leaders in that case.

While talking about the mysterious murder case of honest police officer Durga Chandra Hrangkhawal, Gopal Roy said, “Even Law Minister Ratanlal Nath himself said that this murder was pre-planned murder. If, this is so, why no precaution was taken ? Why with only two TSR jawans, Hrangkhawal was sent to catch the drug smugglers ?” He further said, “The car mashed the police officer on road, then what did the wireless in hand function? So it has a clear signal that with the drug mafias Biplab Babu and company has deep rooted  and direct relation”, said Gopal Roy. Mentioning about increasing murders and crimes, Roy said that Law and Order is fully deteriorated. He pointed how recently in a single day 11 murders took place. Roy told TIWN that the only few people arrested in the murder case of Police officer Durga Chandra Hrangkhawl, whereas the main criminals are still at large.
