AGARTALA, Dec 26 (TIWN): Tripura Police brutality and political-puppet roles which have been continuing unabated across Tripura for a long time has successfully influenced custody murder case of victim Mangal Das, the only son of a poor mother from a Dalit family. The19 years old Dalit boy was allegedly brutally murdered in R K Pur Police Station when he was in custody under SI Pritam Dutta in Udaipur, Gomati District. It took a long time to get the post mortem report and yet undisclosed, whereas TIWN has revealed exclusive videos from sources how in totally illegal manner, R K Pur Police and Gomati District hospital Doctors was involved in doing post mortem of Mangal Das’s dead body in night. Even after assuring full justice, the case was dumped without proper investigation as SP Pritam Dutta is the elder brother of BJP Khayerpur local activist and leader.
Inactive role of Gomati district police superintendent Ramesh Reddy during December 24’s violence in Udaipur which erupted after CPI-M kicked off a rally was however, not unexpected as this is the job he dedicated on part of his duty towards public by serving the BJP leaders and activists obediently.
Not only in case of Mangal Das murder in lockup that BJP’s pressure dumped the investigation but the SP from the beginning has been treating the opposition in politically motivated manner. On yesterday a complaint copying news media was sent to DGP.
The letter stated that the CPI-M party which called a rally and also take advance police permission, after started within few minutes faced threats, witnessed pelting of bricks, bottle towards rally. Former Minister Ratan Bhowmik, ex MLA Madhab Saha and many senior leaders were seriously injured. Many supporters also wounded.
Mangal Das case : Local sources of Mangal Das’s house has said there is a big reason why the ruling BJP is muted over the issue. The murder accused SI, who is yet to be suspended has via BJP persons have allegedly offered Mangal’s mother Rs. 1 lakhs to withdraw the case. But when she was talking to media on yesterday after former CM Manik Sarkar visited her home, she said that she just want justice for her son.

Another video has revealed that Mangal Das is not involved in any theft incident, rather many youths who beaten Mangal and handed-over to police in theft accusation.

Deceased Mangal Das, a theft accused was allegedly under target of police under certain mysterious reasons, which has triggered question, whether Mangal was linked to any such issue which may politically affect the ruling party as the ruling party including the present BJP CM remained totally silent over the issue. This gives strength when BJP party has revealed itself full of criminality and murders, manipulating police actions are common under the party intrigues.

Pritam Datta, SI Radhakishore Pur PS with his team allegedly killed a theft accused, 28 years boy Mangal Das in lock-up brutally and burnt the body without taking the consent of his family and cunning took her mother’s thumb impression when she was almost in unconscious state seeing her son’s dead-body suddenly.

Reportedly, on 23 October, a person named Mangal Das was beaten by local people of Dhwajanagar as they suspected him as a thief and handed him to Gomati police. On 24 October they took the accused on his Amar Nagar house and beaten him infront of his family members and took him in remand for 7 days. On Thursday morning accused's mother received a call from Radha Kishore Pur PS and said that her son is critically ill and admitted in Hospital. But after going there she found her son dead. And when she got almost senseless after seeing her son in such condition, police took her thumb impression in a white paper without her consent and burnt Mangal's body.
