After 6 died and 50 hospitalized for the lack of food, Govt resumes Ration-supplies to Brus

AGARTALA, Nov 7 ( TIWN ) : After 7 days of constant agitation for food, no Ration was supplied to Bru community from October 1st, today finally the State Govt has resumed the services followed by deaths and 50 hospitalized.

Demanding for food Reang people had blocked the Dashda-Kanchanpur road from morning to evening till the Govt resumed the services.

6 people allegedly died in starvation in Bru camps and more than 50 got admitted in the hospital for the lack of food. Despite of condemnation statewide by common man, human rights activists, media and all opposite parties, the state Govt did not resume the ration supplies to their camp which was shutdowned from October 1, 2019.

Former MP Jiten Chowdhury through a question on this matter, "Why doesn't the chief Minister who often rides helicopter to Visit Sani Puja, kali Puja has no time to visit Kanchanpur today? "

The condition was getting worse, however, managed for now, but no permanent solution yet as till 30th November only this service is resumed. 6 people have already died and many are suffering yet in illness.
