Agartala, Oct 29 (TIWN): According to the sections 2 (H) and 5(1) of Rights to Information (RTI) Act- 2005, the secretary of GA (SA) Department of Secretariat- Barun Kumar Sahu and under secretary of the same department- Sourav Kumar Debbarma have been appointed as Public Authority and State Public Information Officer (SPIO), the concerned department informed it in a official statement.

On the other hand, according to section 19 and sub section 1 of Rights to Information (RTI) Act- 2005, the Director of Information and Cultural Affairs (ICA) Department- Santanu Debbarma was appointed as First Appellate Authority of the same department.
